About Me
Designing High-Efficiency Power Electronics for the Future of Electric Mobility
I design high-efficiency power electronics systems for electric vehicles.
What I Do
a power electronics engineer and researcher specializing in high-frequency power converters, wireless power transfer, and electric vehicle charging systems. I am currently pursuing my M.S. (Research) in Power Electronics at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, where my work focuses on the design and control of high-power inductive wireless charging systems for EV applications.
My research combines electromagnetic design, power converter hardware development, and embedded control. I have designed and built an 11-kW inductive wireless power transfer system capable of transferring power across a 170 mm air gap with coil-to-coil efficiency up to 97%, using optimized magnetics and SiC-based power converters.
I enjoy working at the intersection of simulation, hardware prototyping, and embedded systems, using tools such as Ansys Maxwell, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, and DSP platforms like the TMS320F28379D. My work also includes PCB design for high-frequency converters, control firmware development, and system-level optimization of power electronics hardware.Beyond research, I have worked on industry-driven projects with Tata Power and other companies, focusing on practical solutions for EV charging infrastructure and battery charging systems. I am passionate about building efficient, reliable, and scalable power electronics systems that accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation.
